Just One-Thousand Dollars

Right now Gustie's entertaining the idea of visiting her sister Kendra in Europe during spring break 2012. Kendra will be studying abroad in Florence Italy for her second semester. Right now she lives about a minute walk away in an apartment with 3 sweet girls. We spend quite a bit of time over there as they prepare us "real" home-cooked meals. We'll miss Kendra when she goes!
It's about $956 for airfare round trip and we'd have a place to stay with Kendra. Whatta deal, right? What you think about this idea, mom, dad?

Gustie just offered to help pay for my ticket but not for Syd's since she's already been to Italy. "But I was only seven! I don't remember!" Poor Syd. :)

Today I had art. We're working on this project that is going to take me forEVER. We are taking different shades of grey, black, and white and using an exacto knife (which is unsettling in itself) and creating a false sense of dimension by laying different shades on top of each other.. It's due in a couple of weeks. I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time in there after hours.

English Love and Fear is at 2:40. It's one of my favorite classes. About to hop out of bed (I literally have to jump it's so lofted) and get ready for class. The entire class is spent analyzing poems etc.

Tonight I've got my Zumba class from 7:10-8. It is the most fun I've ever had working out. I get to get my latin groove on! Then a spanish HW session, and then we're all going to watch the season premiere of The Office! So excited!
